How is a radioactive isotope of strontium related to calcium on the periodic tabl?
The fact that Sr is in the same family as Ca means that it reacts similar to Ca. It can concentrate in the bones, just like Ca. That is bad since Sr is radioacitve and the radiation it gives off can cause bone cancer.
