Some crochet questions?

You use a yarn or tapestry needle to weave in ends. They just look like really big needles. I usually buy the plastic ones from Boye, because I can never keep up with them. If you want to make an afghan, using a big hook will make the project go faster, but make sure you use a bulky or super bulky weight yarn to go with it, otherwise you will end up with odd looking stitches. You can also use two strands of yarn together to bulk up your yarn. There are pattern books available specifically for making afghans with huge hooks and yarn that go quick and look great--you should be able to find one at walmart or joanns (or any other craft store that sells yarn).
