Why do I like him so much ? I need a little advice too about things?

Okay, so I really like this guy I'm 14 & he's 17 && right now he's in Mexico & I'm in the US...he's a bad boy he likes to smoke & drink but when I go in the vacation to go visit my family & him he stops for a little while...he's really sweet & cuddly around me ...I've like him like err since I met him like 3 years ago & like seriously I dont like any other boy & everytime I hear his name my heart lightens up & I get a big smile ...I really don't talk to him because I'm a little shy & stuff & his brother know that I'm really crazy & really cool as of what he told me ...he dedicated this beautiful song the title is soy todo tuyo by Los TIgres Del Norte which means I'm all yours & it's a song that is like the song from Bruno Mars -Just the way you are ..but I also found out that he hasnt had a girlfriend err since he found out I liked him...he made a move on me on New Years Eve ...I go out to party with him a lot in Mexico ...he tells me all these nice things but I never believe him because I think he like every other jerk out there ...I just like something about him that makes me miss him a lot I always dream & think about him some times I cry because I miss him ..we never really had a relationship he told me he liked me but he said I'm to young for him..any advice ?
