Why have the BIacks never had a great Empire like the British or the French?

If Egyptians wasn't black than what were they? you can't compare the Egyptians today with the ancient Egyptians alot has happened since then,like migration and invasions... anyway did you know that the black race is the oldest race? than comes asians and lastly whites. If anything people copied from blacks somewhere down the line.
