For those who understand some science - is this creationist site actually an elaborate Poe?

Disingenuous, in my opinion. I read about the "seven discoveries prior to the publication of Origin of Species" that refuted Darwin's conclusions and was flabbergasted at the ridiculousness of the article. However, I shouldn't have been. I saw this kind of crap regularly when I was an evangelical Christian, and the willful misrepresentation of other positions by evangelical teachers was one reason why I concluded that Christianity couldn't possibly be true.
