So 2012? end of all or the beginning of a new life?

So i know there has been a lot of "2012" questions lately but i thought i would ask one to try and get a handle on some peoples views. So do you believe the end will come December 21, 2012? And im figuring out not a lot of people knew this but that date is when the planets a line in a perfect line did you know that? And if you do believe in it who do think it will happen? Volcano, earth quake, flood, or the cosmic rays will emit an e.m.p and destroy all the technology on earth(like what they said y2k would do) so which one or is there another one? thanks all
