Computer drafting (CAD) jobs and what to study?

OK so I had a cl in high school using Autodesk Inventor and I feel in love with using the software! I know there are jobs out there where I could get paid to do this kind of work, but what are they called? Drafters? And what should I study in collage? Can I actually get a degree in computer drafting? What is the degree called? How much weight do they have in the real world? Do they get paid reasonably? Thanks to anyone who could answer any of these questions!
