Yes- you have not done any genetic screenings on your dogs which are extremely important for all breeds, but especially the large and giant breeds. You have not shown your dogs in conformation shows which would prove their appropriateness to be included in a breeding program. Don't push your own desires off on your dog. Just because you can't conceive, don't make her a surrogate for your own desires. Genetic problems like hip and elbow displaysia and heart problems persist in these breeds because ignorant owners don't screen their dogs properly. Don't contribute to that problem.
